S'more Ideas for Fire Pit Snacks

S’mores are known as a favorite camp-fire treat. While glamping in luxury Hochatown / Broken Bow Cabins, we decided traditional S’mores are always welcome, but why not also share some unique ways to make and serve S’mores?!?! We found some creative S’mores recipes sourced from Shared Appetite. A spin on the traditional S’mores, these recipes share some simple secrets to dress up the perfect tasting classic S’mores! Sweet Dreams are Made of These…

Candied Bacon S’mores

Coat some strips of bacon with brown sugar, place on an aluminum foil lined baking sheet, and bake in a 375 – 400°F oven for about 15-25 minutes, until the bacon is crispy. Transfer to some paper towels to cool, and boom… candied bacon.

Cookie Butter (Speculoos) S’mores

Break away from the traditional S’mores by replacing the chocholate with Cookie Butter. You will not regret it!

Roasted Berries S’mores (Original credit: Jelly Toast Blog)

First, have you ever roasted fresh strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries in the oven? They are so good with Roasted Marshmallows, Chocolate and either Waffle Cookies or Graham Crackers.

Salted Caramel S’mores

Simply replace the chocolate from your traditional S’mores with your favorite Caramel Sauce and sprinkle sea salt on top.

Samoa Cookie S’mores

Apply the roasted marshmallow between two graham crackers with caramel and coconut spread on each cracker. If you love Girl Scout’s Samoa Cookies, you will love these!

Chocolate Chip Cookie S’mores

Instead of using Graham Crackers, try using chocolate chip cookies with Nutella spread on each cookie bottom. Then sandwich your roasted marshmallows between – making one scrumptious S’more!

Or instead of using Chocolate Chip Cookies – try Oreo Cookies!

The Elvis S’mores

Elvis was known for loving banana, peanut butter and bacon sandwiches. We are pretty sure his version of S’mores would use peanut butter instead of chocolate, banana slices, roasted marshmallow and bacon strips or bits between two graham crackers. Little less conversation – a little S’more Snacking!

Chocolate Covered Potato Chip S’mores

Sweet & Salty Goodness… Use chocolate dipped potato chips, roasted marshmallow and graham crackers for this S’more!

Rice Krispies Treat S’mores

Instead of using graham crackers consider using Rice Krispie Treats, with Hershey’s chocolate and roasted marshmallow between. Snap, Crackle, Pop, make S’more!

Reese Peanut Butter Cup S’mores

Between two graham crackers, try a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup and Roasted Marshmallow.

Also consider warming more than just the marshmallows. Warm the graham crackers and chocolate on a piece of foil just on the edge of the fire, softening the cracker and chocolate. Add the roasted marshmallow and enjoy a warm gooey snack!

S’mores Luxury Cabins has an amazing fire pit at each cabin with plenty of seating. Come sit under the stars, share stories and jokes, make some tasty s’mores and enjoy quality time with your favorite people!
